Steve Northway, a.k.a. “The Building Coach,” is the founder of Construction Advocates. Steve has more than 30 years of experience in the residential and commercial construction industry. In 1978, he co-founded Nor-Son Construction and in 2006, he co-founded Northway Construction. After building hundreds of custom homes and cabins for clients, Steve recognized an opportunity to de-mystify the design and construction process for homeowners. At this point in his career, he finds tremendous joy and satisfaction in working with clients all over the country to create a better construction experience.

Bob Appert has more than 20 years experience in luxury residential construction and development. Bob is the co-founder of Redstone Builders and White Oaks Savanna, one of Minnesota’s only architect-driven communities. A natural leader with an unerring eye for quality and craftsmanship and gift for building teams, Bob has built and managed the construction of many award-winning homes on Lake Minnetonka and across Minnesota and Wisconsin.
